Obligatory comment as requested: I would go Bold nature personally. Also, since its speed is basically too slow to go 31 and too fast to be 0, a random one is good

But bold decreases attack while increasing Defense, while Relaxed increases defense while decreasing speed... neither have an impact on Flamethrower.

Oh right I assumed you meant the nature that increases defense and decreases special attack, my bad. But decreasing attack doesn't really make sense either, since you might want a Curse set. And with a curse set you don't care about speed

I don't think running a curse set is a good idea. Wheezing doesn't get any good physical attacks (unless you deliberately want to lower his speed for trick room?).

It also gets stockpile, which works better with a bold nature imo.

Weezing has a better attack than special attack so I find it sad to lower its attack because I think we should give people the possibility to go mixed if they want to, but if everyone agrees with bold 31/x/31/31/31/31 I'm fine with that since I personally always go special. In that case I need another egg move to replace curse though

Psywave would be pretty cool over Curse. Other than that Destiny Bond or Spite seem like good options.

If you want/need one I can get you a ball from HGSS if interested.

Maybe I can make 2 sets: 31/31/31/31/31/x relaxed with Curse and 31/x/31/31/31/31 Bold with psywave. Or the 2nd one could even be modest.

Do a defensive set with Bold, and a Modest set. They're less situational than relaxed. And Weezing, as mentioned, has a terrible physical move pool.

If I'm not making a Curse set I'm only making one set. Bold and modest would serve pretty much the same purpose (personally I would put more sp.atk evs on a bold weezing and more defensive evs on a modest weezing so both would be exactly the same) and Weezing isn't used a lot so it's useless to make both. I'll make it bold amd replace curse with psywave

Bold is better for defensive, but modest works better with choice specs, which is very viable.

So, am I really making 2 sets for Koffing? Bold and Modest? Or just one Bold?

Well I mean I either go full defense or full offense. Mixing roles just makes you lose to more stuff. I've seen a lot of people use choice specs Weezing, and it's pretty good. Whether or not everyone feels that this warrants another set is another matter. I and probably everyone else have a defensive Weezing, and probably don't have a modest one. So for selfish reasons, I'd love to see specs Weezing here, it's just good enough to catch people off guard.

Well of course not in HGSS but if it means that you'll put the ball in there if I do then I can just breed it with my Ditto till I get a 4IV if you want. Not guaranteeing the nature though just the ball and IVs.

Let me know which one you like the best from HGSS.
