| Proposed SetsSet 1 : Trick Room Mixed SweeperAbility: Soundproof Nature: Quiet Item: Abomasite IV spread: 31/31/31/31/31/0 Hidden Power: None Egg Moves: - Seed Bomb - Avalanche - Bullet Seed - Growth This set is meant to be used with: - Blizzard - Earthquake/Focus Blast - Wood Hammer/Energy Ball - Ice Shard This is the best set Abomasnow can run imo. Blizzard is at 100% accuracy in hail and coming of a base 132 special attack just wrecks things besides bulky waters, but none of these will enjoy taking a Wood Hammer/Energy Ball. Earthquake provides solid coverage along with Ice and Grass dual STAB moves, and allows it to hit Steel types (bar Levitate Bronzong) for good damage. Ice Shard is a great priority STAB move to finish off frail/weak Pokémon. Quiet nature is to be used with Energy ball and Brave nature with Wood Hammer, 0 IVs for best speed in Trick Room. Proposed SetsSet 2 : Specially Offensive SubSeedAbility: Soundproof Nature: Modest Item: Abomasite IV spread: 31/x/31/31/31/31 Hidden Power: None Egg Moves: - Seed Bomb - Avalanche - Leech Seed - Growth This set is meant to be used with: - Substitute - Leech Seed - Blizzard - Energy Ball/Focus Blast/Protect SubSeed set on the special side to abuse 100% accurate Blizzard. Leech Seed as a means of recovery with lack of Leftovers on Mega-Abomasnow.

| We NEED a Mega set w/ Soundproof. It allows you to get up hail whenever YOU want preferably the turn your gonna use Blizzard at the same time immunities to Hyper Voice, Boomburst, Bug Buzz, etc before mega. | |

| Hmmmm I think my favorite one is the mixed set. But Snover gives us some interesting possibilities. I just can't stand its weakness to fire. So... a mixed set with trick room would allow it to deal with fire types. I don't really know... never used it. | |

Good call, I'll breed Soundproof ones then. I tried it alot on showdown, no1 ever uses it imo but it prevents it from ruining your team. I used to run Quiet mixed w/ it but imo if we at least get a Soundproof set that can use Blizzard that'd be good enough for me as I just want to see that ability happen got so useful this gen.

| Quiet attacker, definitely. Blizzard is the most spammable move, that's the one you need to have boosted. Plus once giga drain comes back (I swear game freak, if you do anything, bring back giga drain) you're gonna want that anyway. Ice shard and earthquake round it out nicely.
Honestly, I'm not sure sub seed is viable really. I guess it can be used, offensive is the best.

| Yeah I suppose Quiet nature would be best to spam a stronger Blizzard. Also will do specially offensive SubSeed set too as voted for. Commencing breeding now. | |

| I thought Soundproof was a given. It gives some handy immunities to several moves. Plus if you pass him some boosts (already making a team for this), he can't be forced out with roar. | |

| So, I just checked and GClaws hasn't been online since June 30, that's a week and a half, so... maybe we should start thinking of someone else to breed Snover if we want to be able to start the next type on sunday...? | |

| Yeah I think so.
And now I realize I didn't participate in the discussion, and I want a physical set... T_T
But oh well, I can just breed one using the quiet set.
We'll wait until tomorrow in case he comes back, but if he doesn't you can start

| We've been over this. Quiet is better in every way, especially considering Giga Drain should make a comeback. | |

| What kind of surgery? I have bad sinuses (living in the Midwest isn't helping) and they give me headaches pretty often. It hasn't been as bad this year for me, which is why I haven't looked any mroe into it. But I'm curious if it helps. I'll pray that it does. | |

| Yeah, São Paulo is the worst place ever to live if you have rhinitis and sinusitis... they say it is the paradise for the doctors that treat such cases. I have some kind of extra spongy meat in certain areas of my nose and apparently they make everything worse since they gather dust mite. Besides that, according to the doctor, I don't breathe normally due to that problem. Soooo that's what they're going to correct soon. | |

| Nice. I've heard about this balloon sinuplasty on the radio and wondered if that was it. I've been thinking about it. Anyway, good luck today! | |

| My 3IV HA mama Kabuto was very unlucky too and I ended up changing her for a 4IV HA papa Kabuto and surprisingly I got a 6IV HA bebe Kabuto after only 2 batches | |

| You go for perfect spreads with a 3IV parent? That halves your chances of getting a perfect spread. | |

| That 3IV parent was the best HA female I had, since the female ratio is so bad... I was actually going for a 4IV HA female that I could use to replace it, but after 2 full boxes I never got one, so I ended up giving up and using a 4IV HA male even though a female was better to get the HA... With that male, my 2nd batch of eggs had 4 HA Kabuto out of 5. And the only flawless one was the one without the HA, so I was kinda pissed... but I kept going, and the 2nd egg of my 3rd batch was a flawless HA Kabuto. So yeah, got lucky. | |

| Nice. Yeah the male ratio is bad, but I think it's 60% as opposed to 80%, so you only lose 20 percentage points as opposed to fifty. | |
