| I have an extra egg of Bold with Haze/Mist/Refresh/Encore if you want it.
Kinda really want Water Absorb Poliwrath. I love its typing defensively. Was one of my team's best answers to Entei early X/Y. Sadly doesnt have the best movepool but something like Careful for Bulk Up could work well though SS I feel shouldnt be ignored either.

I think it will certainly help. You don't need the egg back?

| Ooooh... Poliwag is nice! For Poliwrath, I think I prefer a Relaxed set. And I love my Calm Politoed. But this is a hard one, so many options... nice choice, bash. P.S.: and I just noticed that we (Commoners) are all classified as lurkers now this cruel world punishing us for not being nobility... | |

| With viable offense and defense sets on two different Pokémon and people wanting different nature/ability combinations, we have to tread carefully with this one or it might turn into an Altaria thread 2.0
Lol. | |

| I think there can be 3 sets since it's 2 pokemon. Or even 4. People seem to want Water Absorb Poliwrath but Swift Swim it drfinitely worth having. And then we can have a bold Politoed. And eventually maybe a timid or modest Politoad. | |

| Also I want Ice Ball somewhere on the Adamant set. I've been dying to try that move with Metronome as an item lol. | |

| I vote timid and bold for politoed. If we're limiting this to 3 sets, I think we can drop the adamant poliwrath set. I'm fine with getting all 4 sets though.

| I want the Adamant set because of Swift Swim Belly Drum Also I believe Haze is a lot better than Mist, and also maybe the Adamant set should have Endeavor instead of Encore | |

| The poll I put up is for Politoed. Vote twice (one vote for offensive nature and the other defensive nature). | |

| I agree, Haze is always better than mist, unless you're trying to keep from getting the speed or attack cut, but that's too situational to take up a move slot. | |

| Also, I think encore should be on the swift swim to lock the opponent into a setup move or something, so you can get belly drum up and get the ice ball rolling. | |

| Dont do Mud Shot on the Modest/Timid set. It gets it via Lv Up. So I think Refresh/Mist would be better even here.
Perhaps Endure>Water Pulse on the special set? Water Pulse isn't very useful unless the Poke is named Mega Blastoise/Clawitzer as it is both not very useful compared to its other STABs and is a tutor move.
Also what about Ice Ball+Refresh over Endure+Endeavor for Relaxed?
The latter 2 are better off for offensive sets. Refresh can have some use. Ice Ball less but it is a cool move.
Just my opinions.
If you want to distribute my Poliwag to save time I might have another on the side with the same EMs if you want to use the EMs w/o levelling it up or you can just use it as a parent.
Also I agree that this thing justifies 4 sets if bash doesnt mind the work he might have to put in. This is really 2 different Pokes with 2 sets each.

| I think maybe Endure over Refresh though, Endure is a good move. On a Swift Swim poke could get Weakness Policy activated. Other than that, I agree with about everything blue said.
Wow, how often do you hear that?

| Timid and Bold won for Politoed. Also edited the egg moves to take into account what has been discussed. | |

| Noticing a lack of Encore on the Defensive Poliwrath set. That move is amazing, especially with an Immunity.
Imagine locking Ferro into hazards or Iron Ball so it cannot hit you hard so you can spam Scalds or locking a Slowbro into CM/Scald so it doesnt get the chance to Psyshock you. It ain't OU but those are still pretty solid examples imo.

| Do tend to agree with that, encore is really good. Do we need ice ball on the defensive set? | |

| I'd rather drop Endeavor imo. Does anyone here not have access to ORAS and its tutors yet at this point?
Endeavor and Ice Ball are the top 2 to go though as neither will likely make it onto any set but teaching Endeavor means you can never get Ice Ball while teaching Ice Ball still gives access to Endeavor which I find more beneficial as its really just 1 more move to add to the moves you can teach it.

| Doesn't matter. We still have to breed the best egg move regardless. Original scope of work still wins out. | |

| Honestly, I don't have access to ORAS tutors because I never bothered to go to the place where the tutors are. I pretty much stopped playing after beating the E4 and went back to XY for breeding and EV training and all the other important stuff.
But for the Relaxed set dropping either Endeavor or Ice Ball is fine, they're both pretty useless.
