Rock Blast needs to be there

I vote for Rock Blast. Also, should we make the speed IV 0 for max Gyro Ball?

So the first one is definitely the curse mega set, do we need a physically defensive set or an attacking set? It's one of the best rock setters, but can succeed on a sandstorm team with sand force.

If we do a 2nd set I vote:

The actual set is:

Onix @ Berry Juice
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 72 HP / 236 HPAtk / 196 Speed
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Rock Blast
- Explosion

Man, though, Jolly condemns this one to be Onix only. If we do Brave, we can get a cool doubles poke and a pretty good lower tier attacker.

But Onix...

Yeah, I'm a bit hesitant to go jolly because brave seems much more useful

I think Brave just for Gyro Ball/Trick Room. 30 Speed is one where slower is usually more useful when it gets stuff like Gyro Ball.

Also, Steelix gets some really good abilities. Too bad they are on Steelix.

So Brave Mega Steelix for the second set?

Yeah, i think that's the way to go. We could go adamant for Onix sake, but does Onix want adamant or is Jolly really the only nature? If adamant does nothing for Onix, we should stick with brave.

Adamant does nothing for LC Onix, so go Brave. But do the HA.

Any changes in the 2nd set EMs? And we still need to define the last EM.

Both sets probably should have a different 4th egg move.

The one with sturdy should get Flail and the other one should get one of the 2 other moves.

I dont think Flail is very good. Sure it looks good with Sturdy but its best use is on faster Pokemon otherwise you get KOd before you can take advantage of it.

1. Flail is winning the poll so it has to be on one of the two sets at least.
2. The sturdy set is our base to breed a Jolly LC Onix, which is definitely fast enough to run Flail.

Flail won the poll... buuut people are considering not having it in one of the sets? I put in the brave one. Tell me if the other one should have a different move. Now I'm going to HM02 back home

Actually set 1 should have Flail because Sturdy. And set 2 can have any of the 3 moves.

Someone with powers, please change the poll for the 4th EM in the Brave set then...
