Looks good to me - maybe Hidden Power Ice for Dragons/Flying/Ground coverage or Hidden Power Fire for dealing with things like Scizor, Ferrorthorn, Breloom?

I agree. Go with either Ice or Fire for HP. Don't really know which. I'd probably go Fire, but Ice is good too...

Are you evil people really gonna make me breed for hidden powers on something with a great movepool like Gastly? D: Gengar gets Dazzling Gleam for Dragons, Thunderbolt for Fliers and a neutral shadow ball hits just the same as a SE HP.

HP Ice is only potentially useful for Garchomp, Salamence (who kinda sucks this gen) and Dragonite... HP Fire has more potential use but is really only for Scizor and Ferrothorn. When Gengar has access to Shadow Ball, Sludge Bomb, Focus Blast, Thunderbolt and Dazzling Gleam (as well as Energy Ball and Psychic I guess) I'm really not sure HP is that necessary. That said, I'll make a poll and see what people think...

Don't breed for an HP. You are never, ever going to use it. It's a terrible option on Gengar, it should be running such better moves. HP wasn't good before it was nerfed, now it's useless.

I thought I could change my vote, so voted HP as a joke... but apparently this one locks unlike the other polls. So when calculating the final "tally", take away one HP Fire and add one None vote

Dazzling Gleam and shadow ball cover everything a Gengar would need to cover, even if you don't use them Gengar has such an awesome movepool that you have so many other options instead of the HP. Personally HP would waste a slot but it could be good on a gimmick set

I would like some thoughts on the item, other than that I already have one of these done and I'm itching to breed something else so let me know what you'd like people. Black Sludge, Life Orb or Gengarite?

The mega stone is available to everyone, and the other two can be obtained elsewhere.

I think we'll all get life orbs and black sludge later on in droves, so I'd suggest gengarite.
