This one isn't as cut and dried as Pumpkaboo. We need some discussion. It misses Sucker Punch, Knock Off, Seed Bomb, and Giga Drain so badly, and I'm not sure how to run this thing. Mixed is a good idea with it's stats, but I don't know how well it would function. Rest with Early Bird is always a good thing, so that's an option as well. Weather seems a little too shaky, especially in this thing's tier, to be counted upon.

I'd go with clorophyll as the ability. Shiftry can remember nasty plot, so that's another posibility.

I would go with chlorophyll for its ability since that's the best way to use shiftry in my opinion. I'm also in favor of a mixed set since a pure physical set lacks a lot of important moves because of the lack of move tutors (will it have to rely on beat up or foul play for its STAB?). On the special attacking side, it gets dark pulse, nasty plot, leaf storm, hidden power? So that might be more viable.

Shiftry kinda sucks without tutors :|I am seconding Chlorophyll and a mixed nature. I'm going to suggest Rash as it boosts its special attack while still allowing for a mixed set (and Shiftry doesn't really need a speed boosting nature in the sun). Between Leaf Storm/ Solar Beam, Dark Pulse and Focus Blast it gets good coverage to pull off a full special set so I wouldn't bother with Hidden Power off its mediocre offenses.

This thing has an immense move pool, I was just looking. Goodness. It can run swords dance, nasty plot, has fake out, is a defogger, wow. You'd need three sets just to run all its moves lol. So here's the question. I know it isn't that used. But with it having swords dance and nasty plot, do we want to run a modest and adamant? Or just one mixed set. But then the question becomes, what do we do for a physical move? I'm thinking for right now, we go with modest and nasty plot.

Alright, rash it is. I realize if I'm going to add all physical moves I shouldn't have an minus attack nature. This thing is probably best as a mixed wall breaker.

I'd definitely go Chlorophyll for the ability. Rash makes sense as well, so I think that is good. I've seen a bunch of hidden power types suggested on smogon, though its probably not worth the time investment. Also, since leaf stones are available for purchase at the stone emporium, I'd probably go with another item

I don't feel like a hidden power would hit very hard without a boosting set, which wants a modest nature. Plus 60 base power is not very good. But With the sun out, fire is usable I guess? Let me know.

I'd skip HP all together. I didn't think about the HP fire in the sun, but its still not high enough to really be worth it. Base 60 is just too low to be really useful other than against a few select pokemon who are doubly weak to it.

Alright, no HP. The egg moves are physical, but that isn't a huge deal. Does everyone like Rash or Modest?

I'm fine with either given what Shiftry's got to work with. I voted Rash though just to keep the mixed option open.

I have long ago bred Seedot(only mine is Naïve 6IV HP Ice) in a Friend Ball w/ the EMs Leech Seed, Defog, Quick Attack, Bullet Seed if you would want a female to borrow. However by the time I can trade due to my schedule most likely would be too late.

Rash seems to be the way to go. Its better off going mixed and it does get Growth to help power up both sides in the sun.

And actually, in a sheer explosion of good luck, I happened upon a perfect while collecting egg moves, but thanks, I've got it covered. And I forgot about growth, thanks.

Yeah a friend told me about the site. I figure probably every Dark/Ghost is however covered now. I'm a perfectionist when breeding nowadays so I'd thought I join to contribute once the opportunity arises. However my activeness being limited from only Thurs-Sun on school weeks limits my usefulness D:

Also just realized I have very single Dark/Ghost type except Liepard/Shedinja/Duskull so its a bit too late for me to pick up on one now assuming all are already covered ._.

Actually would've replied sooner(like yesterday) but it got too late and I had to remove my account b/c of a username typo.
