Drop Toxic Spikes(Lv Up) For Pin Missile so it has a better Bug Stab?

Also could consider going 31/31/31/31/31/0 for HP Ice+Volt Switch but meh you can only do it if your lucky.

Actually you could do 31/31/31/31/31/x to make Volt Switch usable. There's no need for 0 speed IVs. We're using Relaxed because speed is the stat that Forretress doesn't need, but it's not a trick room pokemon, we're not actually trying to be as slow as possible, we just don't care about speed at all.

And if you manage to make the speed IV a random even number we'll get HP ice too which COULD be useful on some sets I guess.

So basically, 31/31/31/31/31/even would be perfect.

Also I could see Flail or Endure being more useful than Power Trick

I was just gonna chime in about volt switch, that and rapid spin are the only attacking moves I run. You could argue that for gyro ball you need min speed, but honestly, a somewhat low imperfect speed would be great. And I don't really think you need to worry too much about hp Ice, running specially attacking Forretress isn't really a good idea.

I can possibly see flail being better, but it already gets sturdy and I guess this way you can have trick room set up, use power trick, and activate a Liechi berry and proceed to bash in some faces.

Well, actually I could see this thing running:

- Rapid Spin
- Spikes / Stealth Rock / Toxic Spikes
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power Ice

But if you get a few good 31/31/31/31/31/x spreads and they all have an odd speed IV, then don't bother... but maybe give it a try, at least get 2 or 3 before giving up.

As for the egg move, I don't really care either way

Oh, I didn't realize toxic spikes was a level up move. I'll replace it with flail, revenge, or pin missile? Also, I can go for 31/31/31/31/31/0

Needs more Pin Missile Bug STAB.

I'd put it over Counter imo.

Revenge is a nice Fighting move that I'm sure we can agree will near always do 120 damage. Counter w/ that HP not being the highest and that high Def might not get the damage your looking for unless they have low HP but high attack. I like Power Trick b/c w/ TR you still get decent Def but a really good attack stat.

Why don't we just drop counter for pin missile?

So the final four would be pin missile, stealth rock, revenge, and power trick?
