| Proposed SetsSet 1: Physical Non-MegaAbility: Unburden Nature: Adamant Item: Occa Berry IV spread: 31/31/31/xx/31/31 Hidden Power: N/A Egg Moves: - Crunch - Endeavor - Natural Gift - Synthesis Adamant nature because after Unburden, it potentially outspeeds most Pokemon including Choice Scarfed versions. Crunch is there as it's the best dark type option a physical set gets. Endeavor is there for those wanting Focus Sash-Endeavor-Quick Attack combo. Natural Gift + Occa Berry gives it a 80 BP Fire Type move and activates Unburden. Lastly, Synthesis for optional recovery Set 2: Mixed... Mega?Ability: Unburden Nature: Hasty Item: White Herb IV spread: 31/31/30/31/30/30 Hidden Power: Rock Egg Moves: - Dragon Breath - Leech Seed - Crunch - Bullet Seed Mega Sceptile may not have any use for any of it's abilities pre-Mega but Unburden is still preferred for those interested in a non-Mega set. Leaf Storm + White Herb activates Unburden. Crunch and Bullet Seed for physical options.

| Hi, I'm assuming you are new? Welcome!
Is there any room on the second for a mixed set? We of course don't know the ins and outs of the move situation, but regular Sceptile can run a great mixed set (with Leaf Storm dropping that SpA, it's a good plan to have physical moves that can keep it in) and I'm assuming that Mega Sceptile isn't going to be less offensive. I'd suggest Naive, of course, to help with priority.

But do you think I need to replace either Synthesis and/or Leech Seed with physical egg moves?

| Yeah, I would think Bullet Seed and Crunch would be better, I doubt the other two moves are getting any use on Sceptile anyway. (Maybe Leech Seed, but there are much better SubSeeders). | |

| When did this guy join? o.o
I must've missed something when I was gone.
Anyways, Sceptile gets Leaf Storm via Lv Up. Give set #2 Leech Seed instead as it doesnt get it yet its a great move for Grass types.

| I don't care if it is a huge flying weakness, mega Sceptile, mega Lopunny and Breloom are going to be on my team for my ORAS play through. I'll add Manectric to help. | |

| Anyway, i just had a thought about the nature. I just realized that Sceptile has a decent special defense, maybe we should consider a hasty nature instead? | |

| A little while back during the poison types, i was doing Vileplume (Oddish). It took me so many eggs I have vowed to never do a hidden power Pokemon again. It was all I did in my free time for like a week. And that was regular hidden power. | |

| You guys are overexaggerating, it takes me less than a day to get one of those. However when I breed for shinies takes a bit longer due to finding matches. | |

| Well, I've done it. Took a little over 4 boxes from when I got a 31/31/28/31/30/30 one. I was going for a flawless one across all IVs.
HP breeding is okay. HP Breeding with HA is still okay. But breeding HP pokemon that are mixed sets is a challenge.
