| To be honest, I have yet to see a Special Slurpuff or even a mixed one. I'd say go for Adamant to take advantage of Belly Drum. | |

| I think naughty's a better nature for coverage against steel types. Also, swirlix has a very limited physical movepool so I really think it should go mixed. | |

| I haven't seen a Mixed or Special Slurpuff myself either. In fact i tried running a special one myself (Modest with 252 in special attack) and it was pretty underwhelming. But apparently Mixed is the way to go in most cases, for coverage, since Slurpuff only gets two viable attacking moves (Return and Play Rough). | |

| Guys, i think that i need a little more input as to which set to breed :/ one for Adamant and one for Naughty kind of leaves me at the starting point again... | |

I'd go for the Naughty one, due to the limited amount of physical moves it gets, and how little said moves can cover by themselves. Return isn't known for its coverage potential.

| So it looks like i'm gonna be breeding a 6IV Again *sigh* last time i do it! (i swear this time lol). I might do it in a premier ball since it matches lol. I'll start tomorrow to leave more time in case anyone objects *someone please save me from this boundless despair*
Although as far as recover goes, with flamethrower taking up a slot, you can't use protect for reliable wish recovery. All you have to do is hit it hard twice in a row (if not once considering its defense is pretty low anyway).

| I meant to say Recovery there on the first line, not recover... lol. But i guess you can tell XD
The only reason i prefer Adamant is because i run slurpuff on my fairy mono-team, and i know how crappy/great it can be in different situations.
Totally not because i don't want to re-breed

I think a well structured poll would be the best option in a case like this, or just breeding whatever one you want because discussion didn't help (thought this is probably frowned upon...)

| I'll chime in. Flamethrower looks good in theory, I've never actually used it. 85 special attack is actually pretty good. But if it doesn't work for people, I'll yield to them. But just looking at the thing, 85 special attack seems like it would be a good thing.
And don't worry too much about a 6 IV of you don't want.

| I vote Naughty because its physical movepool is terrible (Play Rough and some normal moves...). It's 3-2 now, so you can start breeding the Naughtly set | |

It's 3-2 now, so you can start breeding the Naughtly set But it as "In Progress" now to lock in the vote, so that it doesn't go back to 3-3

Laissez-les manger le gateau! Actually, it's qu'ils mangent de la brioche. Actually both are wrong. There isn't really any French translation for "let them eat the cake" that would sound good and make perfect sense. But the closest would be "qu'ils mangent le gâteau".

| Yeah, I knew le gateau was cake, I tried pulling out my old French for the rest of it, apparently failing. Vocab doesn't fall me, it's the verbs. | |

Yeah, because she never actually said it. In the enlightenment era, some philosopher wrote a book and in it he writes that a high-ranking female royal said "qu'ils mangent de la brioche," which was eventually translated into "let them eat cake." While gâteau is technically the translation for cake, it was clearly meant as a reference to what Marie Antoinette had supposedly said. "Brioche" (literal meaning: bun) was the word originally used. Also, "du gâteau" if you're using the verb manger.

| Bash, you do realize French is my first language? XD "du gateau" would be for "let them eat cake" If you say "let them eat the cake" it means you're talking about one specific cake so it's "le gateau" Has nothing to do with using the verb manger... | |

Yeah, I know because you are in Montréal. Well, I am Parisian. I saw it as "let them eat cake" (without the article "the"), which I immediately translated, like a reflex, to "...du gâteau." Obviously, we translated different sentences (the perils of the French language). Your sentence structure is correct but in the context of the conversation, which was a reference to Marie Antoinette, saying that "...de la brioche" is wrong is just not right.
