Timid Rotom needs HP Ice.

I actually think a few rotoms could use a hidden power... but... for the sake of simplicity I'm fine with no hidden power.

We're using the same timid Rotom for all the forms so HP Ice would be completely useless on most of them. Actually, it'd not really useful on any of them imo. The only set Timid Rotom should run is choice item + trick + volt-switch + its form's elemental move + thunderbolt/will-o-wisp

Also what zoid said... they all need different HP and I'm not going to breed 8 different Rotoms, so, no HP.

If someone else wants to breed a whole bunch of different HP Rotoms though, go ahead, I'll gladly let you do it. I'm only doing Rotom because I promised I'd do it so we can finally get rid of it.

RotomW,H,M all would love HP Ice. Your not investing in Def so it wouldnt affect it at Lv 50, Choice Rotoms make the best use of it. The 3 Rotom's I previously mentioned cannot get past Dragon (and M,W cant get past Grass types)types thus making it useful for a suprise kill when they expect a defensive set. My Rotom-H has won me several matches due to a suprise HP Ice for opponents expecting a free switch in.

STAB HP Ice vs inaccurate Blizzard? Even Smogon lists HP Ice on Rotom Frost somewhere. Rotom-Fan is fine w/ either though Grass is more useful. Rotom Mow HP Fire/Ice hits the same thing (Grass) so its either Dragon or Steel whichever you want to hit more. Most steels dont like Volt Switch though.

If you want to breed HP Grass and HP Fire as well though I dont thin anyone would argue

We could share that work. We can decide who does the next rotom, it doesn't have to be you. In this way, we'll have "perfect" rotoms.

Oops I meant gen, not breed, obviously. And I wanted Magnemite. But it's okay, that's what "first come first served" is all about. I guess if I still have time after Rotom I can still do Voltorb or Elekid... except breeding Elekid would be annoying as fuck... but oh well.

Ok so, I got this HP ice timid Rotom which, according to the judge and IV calculations at level 50 at the battle institute, has a 30/30/30/31/31/31 spread.

Thing is, the IV judge tells me it's "superior", not "outstanding"... what the hell is wrong with him? o.o

I triple checked the calculations and the Rotom definitely has no EVs...

What are the level 50 stats? Post them here and I'll see if I can figure something out. That guy shouldn't be wrong.

The stats at level 50 are 125/63/97/115/97/122 and the judge says sp.atk, sp.def and speed are perfect. And the nature is timid, and Hidden Hower is ice type.
According to the Serebii calculator, that can only mean it's 30/30/30/31/31/31...
