Set 1 : Trapper
Ability: Magnet Pull
Nature: Modest
Item: Choice Specs
IV spread: 31/even/31/30/31/30
Hidden Power: Fire
Egg Moves:
Genderless --> no egg moves

Based on the posts, more people like Modest. So I will probably stick with that. I like Modest too.

Set 2 : Analytic
Ability: Analytic
Nature: Modest
Item: Eviolite
IV spread: 31/even/31/30/31/31
Hidden Power: Grass
Egg Moves:
Genderless --> no egg moves

Both sets done.

Analytic make it 31/odd/31/31/31/0 if Quiet wins so it has Hidden Power Ice.

I'd go Modest on the first set. Though the main reason I'm saying that is I only use this thing for Magneton.

I like both sets. I'd go Timid with the Trapper and Quiet with the Analytic one to take advantage of the speed in both cases.

I'd make a Modest Magnet Pull set with HP fire (mostly for Magnezone) and a Modest Analytic set with HP grass (mostly for Magneton)

I think it may be better to keep modest in the last one, analytic helps you beat things faster, but I don't know whether purposely under speeding things is a good idea.

Also, with HP getting the Nerf, go with modest for the trapper I think.

Oh also I vote for Quiet, mainly b/c I want to try it with Trick Room

Modest is important for the Analytic set. The point of Analytic isn't to try to be outsped. It's to still outspeed the threats that would kill you if they outsped you, but deal more damage when you force a switch or happen to be again a faster pokemon that can't kill you.

And HP grass. Important for Quagsire and stuff like that.

I see a couple of HP suggestions. Poll time.

Maybe I'll change one of the items into Eviolite. Has anybody tried Eviolite Magneton? You are free to choose who you would want to remain just a Magneton - either the trapper or the analytic one. The other item is Specs.

Like I said, modest Analytic with HP grass makes an awesome Magneton.

HP fire is not negotiable, there's no point in running a trapping set otherwise. If you don't have one bash, I can let you borrow my shiny HP fire trapper for a seed.

Yeah HP fire for the first set is obvious, but for the 2nd set it's either grass or ice. I strongly prefer grass.

And modest for both sets. Although I won't be too disappointed if the trapper ends up being Timid.

I also think that grass is probably better.

The poll is for the Analytic set.
